Abstract

Stress is a phenomenon that acquires great relevance in all areas of life, being in the workplace where it increases exponentially causing physical and psychological difficulties, as well as in the productivity of the company. The purpose of this article is to describe the characteristics of work stress according to data sociodemographic staff of the University Corporation Lasallista using a quantitative research design, with a descriptive scope and a non experimental cross-sectional method; through the application of the JSS instrument. Results were obtained that aim to establish that the pressure of work, both in the scale of intensity as in the
frequency of work stress predominates against the other factors.
