This article has the purpose of present the generalities and basic concept of the Gender Budget in Mexico through exploratory systematic review of the bibliography of official sources. For this, it is described in what consist of the Federal Expenditure Budget, its classification and relevance, Public Budgets with a gender perspective are defined in general, later describe the Gender Budget labeled for women and gender equality from 2008 to 2020 in Mexico. Although each year the total amount allocated to gender equality increases, from 2008 to 2018, the resources did not even represent 1% of the Federation´s Expenditure Budget.
