The main objective of the research is to determine the variables or factors that influence the entrepreneurial intention of informal traders in the Popular and Solidarity Economy sector, canton of Machala. The data is obtained with the application of a field test aimed at 600 enterprises, the method applied is econometric, the results show the existence of three variables (independent) statistically significant: Vision towards the future, assume risks and innovative mentality that affect the decision to start a business, that is, explain the dependent variable (entrepreneurial intention) of the model, concluding that the entrepreneur is prepared to face local needs situations.
