Abstract

Tourism entrepreneurship has consolidated itself as a field of growing academic interest, as it connects economic, social, and cultural dynamics. Nevertheless, scientific production displays a notable thematic and theoretical dispersion, evidencing a gap in the articulation of its trajectories. This study aims to systematise and critically analyse the research lines that have shaped  ntrepreneurship in tourism, identifying axes, tensions, and opportunities for integration. Methodologically, a bibliographic review of publications indexed in Scopus was conducted through PRISMA protocol. Findings show that, although each axis has generated significant advances, fragmentation hinders the consolidation of a comprehensive theoretical framework. An analytical scheme is therefore proposed to articulate previously dispersed categories and to understand the scientific evolution of the field. The implications of this study lie in the need for interdisciplinary research that integrates economics, sociology, anthropology, and environmental studies, as well as in strengthening academic dialogue on a global scale. Overall, the study seeks to foster
a more sustainable and inclusive tourism, in line with contemporary social and territorial transformations.
