Media and Information Literacy (MIL) and burnout syndrome (SB) are concepts that become relevant in organizations, especially in the educational environment that must be at the forefront of technological advances, in this sense, one of the fundamental factors is the skills of teachers, who are responsible for training students and future professionals. The present investigation, framed as a correlational study, provides data on the study variables in teachers of a private university and the results contribute to the understanding of these concepts in the field of higher education, showing a trend that indicates that the higher the MIL, the lower the SB.
